As of January 5, 2010 what was commonly known of as the GM Employee Discount or GMS is now called the Employee Vehicle Allowance (EVA).  EVA gives you additional savings on nearly every eligible, new GM vehicle. It will be reviewed periodically and adjusted based on market conditions.  As of this blog post the EVA is reviewed and adjusted quarterly.

You may be asking, “If I qualify for the GM Employee Discount can I shop dealerships for a better deal?”  The answer is no, the GM Employee Discount (now EVA) amounts took effect nationally and do not vary by dealer.

Are family members eligible for the GM Employee Discount (now EVA)?
Yes, eligible GM employees, retirees and their spouse, children, stepchildren, grandchildren, step grandchildren, grandparents (including in-law and step), parents, stepparents, siblings (including full, half and step), mother-/father-in-law, sons-/daughters-in-law, brothers-/sisters-in-law and same-sex domestic partners (SSDPs) where applicable are eligible to receive EVA (GM Employee Discount).

Can I see Preferred Pricing on the dealer invoice?
Yes. Preferred Pricing will appear as PREFER on the dealer invoices, and here at Labadie Cadillac Buick GMC we are happy to show you the invoice.
